Does it work on the Squarespace Personal or Basic plan?

The embedded calculator needs a plan that allows JavaScript in code blocks (Core or higher). On Personal or Basic, link a button or menu item to your quote page. Customers get the same calculator on its own page.

Why can't I see the calculator in the Squarespace editor?

Squarespace hides custom code while you're logged in. Open the published page in a private window, or use Preview in Safe Mode.

Can a Squarespace form calculate a price?

Not on its own. Squarespace forms send you the answers, but they don't add up a total. That's the gap a quote calculator fills.

Will it match my site's colours?

On paid plans you set your accent colour, corners, logo and dark mode. On the free plan it uses our standard teal look.

Adding it to Squarespace

Copy your embed code from “Add to website”.
Edit the page in Squarespace and click an insert point (+) → Code.
Paste the code, make sure the mode is HTML, and leave “Display source” unticked.
Save and view the live page. Scripts only run on the published site, not in the editor preview.

Before you start

Squarespace only runs JavaScript in code blocks on its Core, Plus, Advanced, Business and Commerce plans. On the Personal or Basic plan, add a Button block that links to your quote page instead. It works the same for customers.
Code blocks often don't show while you're logged in to Squarespace. Check the published page, or use Preview in Safe Mode.
The calculator sits inside your page and grows to fit, so you don't need to set a height.
